I worked with Matthew in the Office of Graduate Studies at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Having Matthew around was a huge comfort, particularly as I was transitioning from a small career college to a major research university. There’s a sort of calm that Matthew emanates, making him approachable and easy to work with. I required a great deal of guidance at first, and Matthew always made himself available for one-on-one meetings to cover some aspect or other of the job I was doing. Beyond the day-to-day administrative tasks that Matthew helped me to navigate, Matthew shone as a highly creative individual. He revamped all media for the office, creating a clean and appealing brand that stood out at recruiting events, making my life a whole lot easier. Personally, I grew to like Matthew a great deal. In interacting with him and seeing him interact with others, it’s easy to see why he’s advanced in a career that requires a good bit of people skills. He’s an all around good person, a strong coworker, and I greatly enjoyed working with him.

Matthew is a versatile and skilled communications/marketing talent. He has a firm grasp of what is happening not only right now with internet marketing but what is on it’s way in as well. He has demonstrated creative methods of getting digital communication projects prioritized and would be a valuable asset to any team. I would recommend him highly.

Matthew brings numerous talents to the OGPS team! As the Associate Director, he is a good role model for fellow team members and always gives 110% to efforts he believes will make the office a better place to work. He is extremely tech savvy and easily assimilates the latest technology. I am continuously impressed by his marketing and promotional work, both in print and on the web. When I came on as the new Director of the Office in 2016, he went above and beyond to assist me any time I had questions or needed help. I see him exhibit these same behaviors toward his colleagues as well. His positive contributions have been greatly appreciated!
